The Asphalt Doctor is known throughout the Capital Region. Kathy Trong founded The Asphalt Doctor, Inc paving business in 1992 after working in the family business for many years. Her family has been in the industry since the 1950s, so this was a natural choice for her when she decided to establish her own business.

In order to maintain quality control, employees are carefully trained and expected to uphold the company’s high expectations of quality workmanship and professionalism. Kathy’s husband is a key contributer to the company’s outstanding paving reputation.

The Asphalt Doctor specializes in residential and commercial pavement installation and maintenance and has received The Angie’s List’s Super Service Award for the past two years. Quality control and customer satisfaction are their biggest priority.

Recently, Kathy became a certified WBE (Women Business Enterprise) and is now working on New York State government projects.
